The Fold Debut at Weltenbuerger
Thank you to everyone who came out to see the premiere of my video art project, "The Fold". I also showed some snippets from "Return of the Dark Owl".
Saturday was just a warm up of what's to come. You can look forward to more projection art from me on the streets of Los Angeles this season. Also look out for my moving fashion piece I will be directing for Weltenbuerger's display windows this coming season.
Special thanks to Daniel "D'Kwan" Kwan, Stuart Winter, Mathias Garcia, David Harlan, Jillian Cainghug and Bryan Weltenbuerger.

Local Natives Ritual Performance
Last night the Local Natives dazzled the audience at Walt Disney Concert Hall. They're performance was remarkable. The Los Angeles band played music from their album, "Gorilla Manor". The first half was played with a quartet and the second set was played with a full orchestra. It was incredible. Check out some of the video I made of the live performance.

Silverlake Mural on Santa Monica
I just completed a small mural on a wall in the Silverlake neighborhood of Los Angeles. The mural was done with aerosol and paint markers from Montana.
The mural is located on the large graffiti wall at the corner of Santa Monica Blvd. and Hoover.

Complex Geometries
Bryan at Weltenbuerger boutique on Hollywood in Los Feliz / Silverlake, turned me onto this brand from Canada, Complex Geometries. They have great basics with a twist. I wish more men's lines had this insight. I also wish their britches came in size 34! They stop at size 32.

Design is for Everyone: I wonder if they have WiFi?
This incredible window signage was done with tape on a laundromat window in Silverlake, Los Angeles. The genius is they also made the sign legible from the inside, so in case you miss it when you walk right by it with all the arrows pointing at it, you again have the chance to be informed that they have WiFi. Don't forget they have Ms. Pac Man and Corn Nuts!

Eat LA: The Gastrobus Food Truck
The Gastrobus is one of my favorite food trucks in LA. Anytime I spot the yellow mystery machine, I always check it out. You never know what they are going to be serving that day, but you can always count on it to be fresh and locally sourced from a farmer's market or local food shop like McCall's butcher in Los Feliz where they get their meat.
Today I had the Pumpkin and Green Bean Tempura. It was drizzled with Plum Mustard and served with Ponzu dipping sauce on the side. It was one of the best treats I've had in awhile. I also tried their comforting Spiced Apple Cider.
You can regularly find them Sunday morning's at the Los Feliz Farmer's Market where they have a tapas style brunch menu for "Organic Sundays". Check them out this Wednesday night at McCall's and follow them on Twitter @thegastrobus.

Shepard Fairey "Printed Matters" opens in LA
Last night I attended the opening of Shepard Fairey's "Printed Matters" in Los Angeles. He was on hand with a handful of other urban artists signing books and selling wares. Check out some of his new work.
