Design is for Everyone: I wonder if they have WiFi?

This incredible window signage was done with tape on a laundromat window in Silverlake, Los Angeles. The genius is they also made the sign legible from the inside, so in case you miss it when you walk right by it with all the arrows pointing at it, you again have the chance to be informed that they have WiFi. Don't forget they have Ms. Pac Man and Corn Nuts!

The Center for the Study of Political Graphics (CSPG) has chosen one of my protest poster designs to include in their LGBT Political Poster Exhibition, "Out of the Closet, Into the Streets". The exhibit is on display at the ONE Archives Gallery & Museum. This poster was designed to be used in Protests Against Prop 8 in California. Bell South "Halftown"

I just did the end titles for the director's cut of Bruce Dowad's, Bell South "Halftown" commercial. I came up with a typographic solution to mimic the theme of the narrative of the spot.

"Boys and Girls Guide" on Showtime!

Poster art directed and designed by Xhico.

Xhico's friends made this independent comedy, directed by Paul Sapiano, called "The Boys and Girls Guide to Getting Down". You can check out the film and the motion graphics done by Larimie Garcia for Gig Design this month on Showtime! Check your local listings or Showtime.com to find out more.

BOYS AND GIRLS GUIDE TO GETTING DOWN (R) (2006)
A bouncy, tongue-in-cheek tutorial on clubbing (including tips for getting past the velvet rope and how to after-party), this satirical comedy from writer and director Paul Sapiano contains all the information a viewer would ever require to become a hipster, or simply mock one.
